Sébastien Dequidt
Sébastien Dequidt has practised podiatry as a self-employed practitioner for more than twenty years. His training includes a bachelor’s degree in podiatry (Parnasse-ISEI, 2020-2024), training in posturology (CFPO, 2017) and training in injury prevention (Volodalen, 2020). His practice covers gait and posture analysis, functional and orthopaedic insoles, orthoplasty, paediatric podiatry, the diabetic and rheumatic foot, ingrown nails and post-operative follow-up. Medical foot care is carried out under strict hygiene rules. Care starts from the pain, the walking difficulty or the postural imbalance, and looks for its cause. It is for children and adults of every age.
What we treat
Gait and posture analysis
Foot, knee, hip or back pain linked to the way the foot bears weight, and difficulty walking or running.
Examination of the foot and the way it bears weight, observation of the gait, and a postural assessment. The assessment determines what follows: insoles, an orthosis or exercises.
Functional and orthopaedic insoles
Weight-bearing that calls for correction or support, once the assessment is done.
Insoles made to measure from the assessment, then checked at a follow-up appointment.
Orthoplasty
Toe deformities and areas where the toes rub.
A made-to-measure toe orthosis, worn inside the shoe.
Medical foot care
Ingrown nails, skin and nail conditions.
Care carried out at the practice under strict hygiene rules, with sterilised instruments.
The diabetic and rheumatic foot
At-risk feet in patients with diabetes or a rheumatic condition.
Examination of the foot, appropriate care and advice on what to watch for, in liaison with the patient's doctor.
Paediatric podiatry
The child's foot: walking, weight-bearing, growing pains.
An examination suited to the child's age, and follow-up of how the foot develops during growth.
Post-operative follow-up
After foot surgery.
Care and adaptation of weight-bearing during recovery, following the surgeon's instructions.
